We are busy people living fast lives, so
we lean towards convenience food to
satisfy quick hunger and not nutrition.
I have prepared meals for celebrities
and busy professionals who wan to eat
healthy and have time to spend with
their family.
TP: What are some healthy eating
tips for busy professionals?
Chef: Keep a healthy snack around
you like nuts to prevent the urge of
eating junk food. What I do that's
helpful to me si to freeze bottles of
water and take them with me in a thermal
bag that will keep them cool. So
when I'm thirsty I don't reach for a
soda; I reach for my ice-cold water.
TP: What foods can help people on
the go to have more energy and stimulate
the brain?
Chef: As a mater of fact the more
foods with Vitamin A - like salads- is a
natural energy booster. Eat more
raw vegetables to give energy for the
brain.
TP: In today's economy we are
experiencing price increases, especially
in food and gas. The same bag of
groceries you purchased last year for
$100 might now cost you $110. What
are some affordable but heath meals busy
entrepreneurs can make for their
families?
Chef: This reminds me of an old
saying, "Prior Planning Prevents Poor
Performance." And if we will set
aside time to buy healthy and prep fresh
food items, it will allow us time to put
together meals quickly in less
than an hour. For the most part
buy fresh foods and vegetables, then
prepare them earlier in the week.
